The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize many life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR for Adult, Child, and Infant, use an AED, and relieve choking. This course is intended for both certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals. The course can also be modified to meet workplace requirements.
The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course includes first aid skills and information required by OSHA. It teaches the skills to effectively assess and maintain life in the critical minutes immediately after an emergency, until the arrival of emergency services. It provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid.
Audience: Individuals working in healthcare such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, occupational and physical therapists, physician's assistants, residents, medical or nursing students, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel.
You ARE required to have the current AHA textbook for this course. If you do not purchase one here you will be required to show your book at class. If you do not have one you will need to purchase one in order to receive certification. Please choose from the following optional items:
